Hand Logging
- Open the Quick Hand Sheet during an active session with the 'LOG HAND' button on the session card (it stays available during a break too).
- Tap 'Break' to pause your playing clock: the break is saved with the session, so it is left out of your hourly rate by default, and a break started on one device shows on your others. The big clock shows playing time, with your breaks so far under it. On a break the session card shows 'Back to Session' as the main button, with a smaller 'LOG HAND' button under it, so you can log hands during the break. If you end a session while a break is still open, the end screen shows the break minutes so you can correct them, and 'Edit Session' lets you fix the breaks of an ended session.
- Hero Cards: your hole cards (e.g. Ah Kd). Use the card picker or type manually.
- Board: community cards (flop, turn and river), separated by spaces.
- Villain: optionally tag a known player from your roster.
- Position: your seat for the hand (UTG, MP, CO, BTN, SB, BB and so on), so the coach and the stats know where you acted from.
- Blinds at the time of the hand (optional): the blind level when the hand happened (e.g. 500/1000 + ante). Auto-filled when you state the blinds in the hand description for extraction, and editable manually, including on an existing hand. Matters in tournaments: without it, polls and replay shares omit pot sizes - the session's starting level goes stale as blinds rise, and showing nothing beats showing a wrong number.
- Villain cards: what the opponent showed at showdown, if anything. In the quick sheet, pot size and the action sequence are not typed in by hand: they are filled in automatically when you read the hand from an image or text, and shown on the card afterwards. The past-hand form has its own street-by-street actions editor.
- Result: Win, Loss or Tie. The outcome updates your session P&L.
- Notes: free-text field for reads, tells, or any situational context.
- Self-rating: at the bottom of the form, rate how you played the hand: A-game (excellent decision), B-game (reasonable), C-game (poor). The rating is saved on the hand and shown as a chip in History.
- Analysis: saving a hand does not analyze it by itself. Ask the coach in chat ('analyze the last hand'), or open it in Hand Analysis, to get analysis notes on the hand card.
- Logging hands outside a session: you can log a hand without an active session. It goes under 'Unlinked Hands' in the Hands tab of History.
- Hand image upload: in the Hand Analysis page (/hand-analysis) you can photograph or upload a hand image. The coach extracts the cards and inferred action automatically.
- The Quick Hand Sheet is a shortcut. For a full action sequence (preflop, flop, turn, river) use the Hand Analysis page.
- Follow-up questions: below the analysis there is a 'Follow-up questions' box. Every question there is read as a question about the hand you just analyzed, even when phrased briefly ('how do I continue from here?' means how to play the hand from that point on).
- The coach answers follow-ups using the action sequence, stacks and pot extracted from your image or text. If a number it needs for the math is missing, it says what is missing instead of guessing.
- Computed facts: when the hand's data supports it, the app computes in code (not AI) the board texture, your made hand per street, bet sizes as a percent of the pot, postflop pot odds on call decisions, and - when the villain's face-up cards were captured from a showdown screenshot - the winner. A fact missing a number (e.g. no per-street pot read from the image) is skipped, never guessed, and the coach is bound to the facts that were computed.
- Fair judging: the analysis opens by classifying the hand (standard play / a mistake / a cooler) and grades every decision on the information available at the time - not on the card that came or the hand's result. In a cooler, the coach says so explicitly instead of inventing mistakes. Each street gets one severity label (blunder / mistake / marginal improvement / style preference), kept identical in the analysis body and the summary.
- More fields in the hand form: Position, result (win / loss / tie) with the amount, your Mental State during the hand (a tilt alert shows if it looks shaky), and the villain's cards at showdown. On a losing hand the form also asks 'Was the decision correct process-wise?' (good process / bad process), so a good decision that lost is recorded as such.
- Reading a hand from an image inside the Quick Hand Sheet: upload, photograph or paste a screenshot, tell the app your username at the table when asked, and tap Analyze: the cards, board and actions fill in. The 📝 Template button inserts a short skeleton (BB, stack, position, hand) for typing a hand quickly.
- Past hand: when logging a hand after the fact you also get a street-by-street actions editor, so the replayer and the coach see the full sequence.
- Load hand from history: in Hand Analysis, '📂 Load hand from history' opens a picker with filters for position, result, game type, platform and villain name, so you can analyze any hand you logged before. The picker lists every hand from every session, including hands analyzed from a photo with no active session, 50 at a time with a 'Load more' button and a count line ('Showing 50 of 212 hands').
- Analyze a hand from History: expand any hand card in History and tap '🔎 Analyze hand'. Hand Analysis opens with that hand loaded (cards, board, position, villain, notes), so you can use History's own filters to find the hand and then send it to analysis.
- Dictating notes: the microphone button next to the notes field in the hand forms, in Hand Analysis and in a player's notes turns speech into text (browser dictation, separate from the coach's voice call).
