Settings
- Open Settings from the gear icon at the top of the Home screen (there is no Settings tab in the bottom bar).
- Language: switch between Hebrew and English. Language change affects both UI and the AI coach (UI = AI), and the browser tab/window title switches to the chosen language too.
- Currency: pick your primary currency (₪ / $ / € / £) for P&L and amount display.
- Coaching style: choose Supportive / Balanced / Direct. Controls the coach's tone.
- Your gender: pick Male / Female so the coach addresses you with the correct Hebrew grammatical forms (masculine / feminine) - in both chat and voice. Set once during onboarding and changeable here anytime. Only affects the Hebrew interface (English address is genderless).
- Enter key in chat: configure whether Enter sends a message or creates a new line, to match your typing preference.
- Goals & Polls: 'My Goals' and 'My Polls' are collapsible sections (closed by default) - tap the header to open. Each goal or poll shows as a compact row that expands on tap to the full details and action buttons. The coach remembers your goals - see section 'Coach Personalization'.
- Subscription management: view your subscription status (Free / Pro), next billing date, and external management button.
- Notifications: enable push reminders for scheduled sessions (they work even when the app is closed). On iPhone, install the app to the Home Screen first.
- Referral link: find your personal invite link to share with friends. See section 'Referrals'.
- Crisis / Responsible Play: access to support resources if gambling gets out of balance.
- Delete account: button at the bottom. Requires typing 'delete' to confirm. All your data is deleted: hands, sessions, player profiles, account.
- Tip: changing language switches the coach's language at that moment, no need to refresh.
- Blog: a 'Read the blog' link (in Settings under 'Articles', and on the Home screen) opens OctoCoach's blog with articles and tips on tilt, mindset, and the mental game. It opens in your current language; use the Back button (or tap the OctoCoach logo) to return to the app.
- Usage analytics: a switch in the Data section controls whether OctoCoach collects feature-use events and masked session recordings (all text and numbers hidden) to improve the product. On by default; turning it off stops both immediately. Details in the Privacy Policy, section 7.
- Coach voice: in Settings pick a male or female voice for voice sessions with the coach.
- Load all sessions (Data section): by default History loads your latest 2,000 sessions. Switch to 'Unlimited' to load everything; with a very large history this can make History slower to open.
- New version: when an update is ready, a 'New version available' banner appears with a Refresh button. On a phone the app also offers to install itself to the home screen, with the steps for iPhone and Android.
