Multi-Day Tournament
- A multi-day tournament spans several days of play, like big MTTs or Main Events.
- When opening a session, choose 'Multi-day' as the game type. The app will remember to track across days.
- Enter the initial buy-in and tournament location.
- At the end of a day's play, tap 'End Day' (not 'End Session'). The app saves chip stack and Day Count status.
- Between Days Sheet: between days you'll see a break screen. Log rest level, thoughts on what to fix, and current chip stack.
- Next-day prep: in the prep sheet you can record the next day's table - your seat, your stack, who sits in each seat (search a saved player or type a free name), and each player's stack size. You can scan a photo of the organizer's seating chart to auto-detect the players; stack sizes are entered manually. When the next day starts, the saved players load into the live table by seat.
- The tournament card on the Home screen shows a countdown to the next day: over 24 hours away it shows days ('Tomorrow' only when it really is the next calendar day), under 24 hours it shows hours, under 2 hours it shows hours and minutes (e.g. 'In 01:43 hours'), and in the last hour minutes only.
- At the start of the next day, tap 'Continue Tournament' from the Home screen. The tournament card resumes from where you left off.
- You can add Re-buy / Re-entry / Add-on on each day separately. The app aggregates them across the tournament.
- Tournament final: tap 'End Tournament' with the final cash-out amount. Cumulative P&L is calculated automatically from all days and buy-ins.
- You can see a summary of each day separately in the History tab. Each day appears as a row under the tournament.
- If you cashed (in the money), enter the final placement and prize amount when ending the session.
- ITM places: set the ITM field as a percentage of the field when you plan or start a tournament (e.g. 15%). Once the tournament is live, the tournament panel shows the actual number of paid places, auto-computed from that percentage times the total entries. You can override the number by typing it, and a recalc button next to the label returns it to the percentage-based value.
- On the 'Stack timeline' chart, each point shows (on hover or tap) the stack, plus the energy and focus you logged at that moment, and a compact ICM-pressure tag (Bubble / Advance / Final / Pay jump) with the distance to the event - energy and focus appear only on points where you recorded them. A dashed pink line marks each Re-entry tapped on the session button at the moment you tapped it, even when the next checkpoint was logged much later. If the tournament has a starting stack, the re-entry is also logged as a point at that stack (on day one of a multi-day event). A per-table Re-entry in a multi-table session counts in the money but is not marked on the chart.
- Deleting or editing a chart point never changes the re-entry count or the invested money: points are display evidence, and the count changes only through the Re-entry button and the session editor. Deleting a re-entry point asks for a separate confirmation that says so. A mis-tapped re-entry is corrected in the re-entries field of the session editor.
- Re-entry / late reg and ICM pressure: while you can still re-enter (late registration is open), busting is not terminal - you can just buy back in - so ICM pressure does not apply yet and you should play chipEV (accumulate chips). When you start a tournament you can mark 'Re-entry / late reg available', and the tournament then starts with ICM pressure suppressed. The tournament panel has a 'Re-entry / late reg open' toggle: while it is on, the app and the coach do not show ICM pressure and instead advise chipEV. Turn the toggle off the moment late reg / re-entry closes, and ICM pressure (bubble, pay jumps) comes back.
- Tip: log key hands every day. The coach can help you review the tournament after it ends.
- Recommended bet sizes: from your big-blind count the session card suggests open and 3-bet sizes, in position and out of position, in BB and in chips. Under about 11 BB it warns 'Very short stack - push only'. It also shows the average stack and how many players are left until the next pay jump.
- Organizer numbers: the between-days sheet has an 'Organizer numbers' section for the total prize pool, bounty and rake per entry, with a 'Total prize pool' calculator, so Day 2 opens with the real numbers.
