Home game manager
- Run a friends' poker night in the app, free on every plan. On the Home screen tap the 'Home game' tile. The home games page shows a game in progress at the top ('Back to the game'), a '+ New game' button, and your past games with the date, the number of players and your own result. While a game is in progress the Home tile shows 'Open game' with the player count and jumps straight into it; Back from the game leads to the home games page. Playing and running the table the same night: during a live session or a tournament between days, a 'Home game running' strip with 'Manage' sits at the top of the Home screen, and with no game open, in every live session or tournament, a 'Manage the table' link opens a new game. Inside the game, a line under the status strip goes back 'To my game' while the session is live. Starting your session from the game: when you are marked as playing ('I'm playing too') and have no live session, a row under the status strip says 'Playing too? Your session is not open yet' with a 'Start session' button. It opens the same start-session sheet as the home screen, already filled from the game: cash, 'Home game' environment, game type, blinds, place, currency and your first buy-in; all that is left is energy and mood, then Start. If the game has no blinds typed but the chip value is set, the blinds are read from it: one chip is one small blind, so 200 for 400 chips (0.5 per chip) fills 0.5/1. Blinds or a place picked in that sheet that the game did not have yet are written to the game as well. The new session is linked to the game at once, the row turns into 'Linked to a live session' with 'To my game', and History shows 🏠 on the session row. From then on the game and the session are one record of your money: every buy-in added, edited or removed for you in the game is written to the session (first buy-in and rebuys), and a rebuy tapped on the session card on the home screen is recorded as your buy-in in the game. At the end: if you counted your stack in the game (or settled) before ending the session, the end-session sheet is already filled with that amount, marked 🏠, and you can change it; if you ended the session first, the amount you left with becomes your count in the game (a game counting chips at a rate worked out at the end is not converted, count by hand there). A settlement closed, or reopened and fixed, after the session ended updates the session's buy-ins, cash-out and result. An ended session linked afterwards via 'Link to a session' keeps its own numbers; only the place is shared with it. Editing amounts in the session editor in History does not change the game. Linking to a session: the session is more detailed and wins, so with a live session the game does not offer to save a result. Instead tap 'Link' in the line under the status strip, or leave 'Link to my live session' on when finishing. Link a session that already ended from the ⋯ menu, 'Link to a session', where you can also remove the link. The link never changes the session's result; it lets you move between them: 'To session' from the game, and 🏠 on the session row in History or 'Open the home game' in the opened session. A session saved from the game's result is linked to it too.
- New game: enter the buy-in, choose what players count at the end (chips or money) and, for chips, the chip value: '1 chip =', 'Chips per buy-in', or 'Work it out at the end' (total money in divided by total chips counted, so a small miscount is shared by stack size). Add the players by first name or nickname (no surname field) and turn on 'I'm playing too' to sit in yourself. Currency (₪, $, € or £), NLH or PLO, whether buy-ins are paid in cash into the box or on credit, stakes and place are under 'More settings'. Friends stay inside the game and are not added to your Players list.
- The strip under the title always shows the money in, what should be in the box (or the credit total when nobody pays cash) and the players still at the table; tap it for the box breakdown: cash in, paid out to early cash-outs, what should be in the box, and what is on credit. The step's main button is pinned at the bottom of the screen, and the dots at the top show which of the three steps you are on. Delete and reopen live in the ⋯ menu.
- Buy-ins: a player can come in for any amount; the amount set when the game opens is only the usual one. A name already at the table: typing the name of a player who is already in the game into 'Joining late' (still playing, or cashed out early with or without chips) opens the question 'Same player?'. 'Yes, same player' continues on that row, with no duplicate: someone still playing gets another buy-in. Someone who cashed out with chips and has not been paid from the box yet comes back with their stack (for example in for 100, out with 150, back again: their 150 is at the table again), the early cash-out is undone, and another buy-in is only an option via the + on their row. Someone who cashed out with no chips, or was already paid from the box, comes back with a new buy-in; earlier buy-ins and the box payout stay recorded and the settle-up counts them. 'No, someone else' puts a free name in the field (for example 'Dan 2'), which you can edit before adding. At game setup too, a name already on the list (or your own name) gets a free-name suggestion instead of a duplicate. Letter case and spacing never make a different name. Each row has one big '+' button that repeats that player's last buy-in and payment in one tap; right after it a short message appears for 5 seconds with a switch between cash and credit and 'Undo'. The 'Other' button opens a sheet with the amounts already used tonight, a field for any other amount, and a choice of cash or credit. Tap ⋯ next to a player's name (or the name itself) to open their sheet: tap an amount to fix it, switch any buy-in between cash and credit, remove a buy-in, cash them out, or remove a player who has no buy-ins. Late joiners are added by name under the list and choose the amount and payment of their first buy-in.
- Leaving early: in the player's sheet enter what they leave with; the field shows the unit inside it (chips or money, the game's unit by default, with a link to switch) and a live conversion line. A very large money amount in a chip game asks whether it is a chip count, with a one-tap fix. 'Left with no chips' marks a player who lost everything (tap twice to confirm). Players who left move to a collapsible 'Left the game' section; their sheet shows what they take home and their result, a 'Paid from the box' button to record the cash actually handed over (it comes off the box), and a 'Back to the table' button that brings them back by the same rule as 'Same player?': cashed out with chips and not paid from the box, they return with their stack and a message says how much (for example 'Dan is back at the table with 650 chips'); busted or already paid from the box, they return with a new buy-in and the box payout stays recorded. Credit comes off first: a stack pays the player's own credit, and only what remains is theirs. Someone leaving with ₪800 and ₪500 on credit sees '₪800 minus ₪500 credit = takes ₪300', and the box payment is filled in with ₪300. A stack smaller than the credit shows what is still owed, with no box payment, and the rest appears in the settle-up. The same line shows in the end-of-game count.
- Cash-out: the top card shows how many stacks are counted and whether the count matches the money in. Each player's field shows its unit inside it and the converted amount under it; 'Switch to' changes the unit after a second tap and keeps the typed number. Players who already left are shown with their amount and can be edited. If the count does not match, the gap is shown and settling waits until you fix the counts or choose what to do with the difference: spread it by stack size, or hand it to one player picked from a list (the host or anyone else). A leftover (counted less than came in) is given to that player, an over-count is charged to them, and you can hand over all of it or only part, with the rest spread by stack size.
- Settle up: 'Who pays whom' comes first, with large rows and the box as one more party when buy-ins were paid in cash (take from the box, or put into it). Results follow; in a game with both cash and credit, or for anyone already paid from the box, a second line shows how the stack became what they take or pay (stack, credit, from the box, costs, rounding). Then 'Adjustments', folded with a one-line summary: shared costs for the evening such as food and drinks (pick who paid, always one of the players, and enter the total spent; it is split equally between that player and everyone marked Shares, while anyone marked Paid separately stays out of the split, and a warning shows if the amount looks high; it covers actual costs and is not meant as profit for the host) and rounding of the transfers to 1, 10, 100 or a custom step, with any rounding difference shown and given to the biggest result or to you. Share sends the whole settle-up as text (WhatsApp or any app), before or after finishing.
- Sharing (the 🔗 Share button at the top of a game): 'Summary link for the table' creates a public link anyone can open without signing in; it shows, live, who is in for how much and what is in the box, and once the game is settled who pays whom with the paid marks. It shows the names and amounts you entered, nothing else, stays available for 30 days after the last change, and can be turned off from the same place. 'Settle-up text' sends who pays whom and the results as text. The page invites viewers to sign up or log in. The Share button on the settle-up screen first asks what to send, and the same choice sits at the top of the share sheet; it applies to both the link and the text and is remembered for next time: 'Everything' shows who is in for how much and each player's result, while 'Only who pays whom' keeps just who pays how much to whom (a player or the box), with no buy-in list and no results section; on the link the player list becomes names only and the evening's total in is not shown. Note that the transfers themselves still show who pays and who collects. You can change the choice at any time, and a link already sent updates at once.
- Handing off management: 'Hand off management' creates a one-time link (valid for 48 hours). Whoever opens it signs in or signs up (and comes straight back to the link), picks which player they are, and takes over: the game moves to their account, the summary link keeps working under them, and your copy stays read-only, marked 'Handed off'. When the game comes back to you (your friend hands management back, even after several more hands), it folds into the card you already have, with everything added in between, instead of opening as a second game. If that game's screen is open on your phone at that moment, it reloads with the message 'The game is back with you'.
- After settling, tap the ✓ next to each transfer to mark it paid; paid transfers are crossed out here and on the summary link. On the home games page every settled game that has transfers shows its payment status under the date: how many players still have to pay (a player who owes two people counts once, and when only a payout from the box is left it says the box still has to pay out), and 'All paid ✓' once every transfer is marked. A game you handed off shows no payment status, since its marks live with whoever manages it now. 'Same as last time' at the top of a new game fills in the players and settings from your last game. The 'Season' table on the home games page adds up every settled game this year per friend (by name); it is only visible to you in the app, never on a link. When this year's games come from two or more places, a row of buttons above the table filters by the place entered on the game (e.g. 'Dan's place'), with the game count next to each; 'All' shows every group together, and games without a place are grouped under 'No place'. For the filter to work, enter the same place on every game of the same group (case and spacing do not matter). The place and stakes can be fixed after a game is open or settled: open the game, tap the ⋯ menu and choose 'Place and stakes'; an empty field removes the value. The change shows in the game header, on its card on the home games page, on the summary link (if any) and in the season table's place filter. A game linked to a session stays in sync both ways: a place or stakes changed on the game are written to the linked session too, and a place or blinds changed when editing the session in History are written to the game (place up to 40 characters). A game you handed off has no place editing.
- Your own result: when you played, 'Finish and settle' can save your result as a past cash session (environment Home, tagged home-game) so it shows in History and counts in your bankroll. It keeps the exact poker result, not the rounded transfer; your share of the costs is saved like a dealer tip, not as a poker loss. If you skipped it, a button on the settled game saves it later. A settled game can be reopened from the ⋯ menu until your result has been saved.
- Home games are included in your data export (Settings, then Data) and deleted with your account or with 'delete all my data'. Deleting a game does not delete the session you saved from it.
